Kearney West - Kearneys Spring

The Kearney West estate will ultimately comprise 350 lots and extend from Kearney Street through to West Street, and to Nelson Street on the north.  The 8 stages in this popular residential area of Toowoomba will be developed and sold over a number of years.  To understand the full scale of Kearney West, please find attached a Layout Master Plan for the southern half of the estate.

STAGES 1, 2, 3 & 4 - ALL LOTS ARE SOLD

STAGE 5
Stage 5 of Kearney West will allow access to and from West Street.  A roundabout will be constructed on the intersection of West Street, Handley Street and Cadel Evans Drive.  The construction of Stage 5 has been placed on hold.  This is due to high voltage underground power cables which need to be lowered in order to build the roundabout.  This work is to be completed by Ergon and will delay the commencement of Stage 5.

Stage 5 will include 34 lots ranging in size from 540m² to 977m².  All lots will have reticulated sewerage, underground power, and be NBN ready.  The blocks will be levelled from boundary to boundary, so cut/fill earthworks will not be required.  The estate has plenty of open green spaces for families to enjoy.  Cadel Evans Drive and O'Neill Circuit both offer large landscaped detention basins and the fitness trail on Kearney Street is very popular with residents who wish to exercise close to home.  The footpath network allows pedestrian links to Carly Hibberd Park on Velodrome Drive in the Kearney East Estate.  This is one of Toowoomba's newest parks and offers playgrounds, slides, bike trails, bbq's, toilet facilities and an off-leash dog area.  Since completion, Carly Hibberd Park has been favoured by children living in the estate and is a great place for families to gather.  The network of concrete pathways throughout both of the Kearney Street developments also provides access to the Nelson Street bus stop.
